I got my first faint positive a week ago. Since then I’ve taken several more tests and I am worried because the lines don’t seem to be getting darker. This is my 5th pregnancy and all of the other ones I was able to see the test line before the control line and it was always very dark. Of course Google tells me the worst. I am about 16-17 DPO. My last cycle was weird. I had a period for a week, then nothing for a week and then what looked like another light 5 day period during the time I was supposed to be fertile. So that put me ovulating a week later than I was supposed to as that was the week we were unprotected so this was all an oops. But of course we were thrilled when we found out even though we weren’t trying. And now the thought of this being a chemical pregnancy is devastating. I also had super light spotting this morning only while wiping. It was clear discharge streaked with light pink. I am trying to stay hopeful but it’s so hard since my appointment isn’t until the 20th :(

I would message your doctor with your concerns and advocate for them to test your hcg level! They do look light :( hoping for the best for you!

I am not sure when I had my chemical pregnancy it faded somewhat like this as well. Mine was more instant though- I had a positive and then 2 days later the tests were super light and my period came. Maybe your doctor can get you in for an HCG blood test

I’m going through a similar thing right now except all my lines look like your top one and have stayed the same for 3 days. How are you going?

I know it’s stressful, I would keep test each day to see if the line continues to get lighter or darken… sending hugs
